The Lord’s Army
A friend was in front of me coming out of church one day,
and the preacher was standing at the door as he always is to shake hands.
He grabbed my friend by the hand and pulled him aside.
The pastor said to him, “You need to join the Army of the Lord!”
My friend replied, “I’m already in the army of the Lord, Pastor.”
The Pastor questioned, “How come I don’t see you except at Christmas and Easter?”
And with a totally straight face, he whispered back,
“I’m in the Secret Service.”
Our annual May Crowning at OLMC, will take place in the Church on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10th, during the 11:30 AM Mass. Please join us for the Blessed Crowning.
Consoling the Heart of Jesus
Please join us for a 10 week, small group in-house retreat that will open discussion into the simplicity and grandeur of Consoling Spirituality. This retreat is based on the popular book by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, Consoling the Heart of Jesus.
Our journey through discovery on the insights into the keys Consoling Through Jesus, to the Great Sanctity of the Saints and Blessed will be on Tuesday nights at 7PM in the Fr. Marino Hall, all men are welcome to join us on our fantastic, enlightening journey.
Join us for a Lenten Journey with our Blessed Mother. We will use the book by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, “33 Days to Morning Glory,” to guide us on this Lenten retreat. This simple book reminds us of Mary’s desire to bring all of us into the merciful Heart of Jesus. The daily reading take about 15 minutes. We will meet six consecutive Fridays, during Lent, at 7:00pm, immediately following the Stations of the Cross. We will meet in the Mercy Room.
Hope to see you there!!
