You held my hand when I was small.
You caught me when I fell.
You are the hero of my childhood,
And my later years as well.
And, every time I think of you,
My heart fills with pride.
I always miss you, Dad, when you are not near.
But, I know you always at my side.
In laughter and in sorrow.
In sunshine and through rain,
I know you are watching over me,
Until we meet again!
Festival workers!! Festival Workers!!
We are in need of festival workers for our annual celebration! If you have not worked the Festival in the past, or just last year, please sign up to help at the table by the bathrooms near the entrance to the church. We truly appreciate everyone’s help and participation on our major, annual fundraiser.
Festival set-up begins on June 29th, after 9:00 AM in the school lot, We Need Your Help!!!! With the festival fast approaching, on the 29th, we will begin preparing the grounds for the festival. You do not have to bring any tools, we will supply what is needed. We need some good, strong hands to move and build some stands, please bring some work gloves with you. If everyone pitches in 3-4 hours, we can complete the work in one day. Actual set-up for the Italian Festival will be on Monday, July 6th at 9:00 AM. If you have a couple of free hours, we could really use your help. Please contact the Rectory if you can help at 216-651-5043.
This week, Monday through Friday, the Friars of the Rectory, will be in Pittsburg for our permanent formation with the Mercedarians. Please keep them in your prayers. You will be in good hands with Fr. Alex; he will be taking care of the Parish in our absence.
Bishop Richard Lennon
Our Bishop will be with us to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at 11:30 AM Mass on July 12th. We are most grateful of his presence on this wonderful Feast of our Parish.
