Catholic Youth Organization

CYO programs foster the development of physical skills, social skills, emotional growth, affirmation of gifts and spiritual strength. The young person, not the athletic activity, is the primary focus of CYO Athletics.

Festival

This annual five-day event raises money for operating costs and capital expenses to benefit our parish and school. It is also a great way to help build community with all the members of the parish and school. Volunteers are needed to perform many different tasks associated with the event.

Holy Name Society (men)

The Confraternity of the Most Holy Names of God and Jesus (Holy Name Society), a parish-based men’s group, promotes reverence for the Sacred Names of God and Jesus Christ, obedience and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, and the personal sanctification and holiness of its members. Members are called to contribute to the evangelical mission of the Church and to make perpetual acts of reverence and love for our Lord and Savior. The apostolate of the society is to assist in parish ministries by performing the Corporal Works of Mercy.

Mercedarian Lay Fraternity

The Mercedarian Lay Fraternity is an association of lay people integrated into the Mercedarian family, which participates in the Order’s redemptive spirit. Members of the Third Order know and cherish the spiritual treasure of the Order so they are able to realize the Mercedarian ideal, according to the directives of the Church and of the Order, in keeping with their concrete circumstances. Candidates to the Lay Fraternity undergo a period of formation that teaches them about the spirituality, charism, history, and apostolate of the Order. There are many spiritual privileges attached to belonging to the Third Order. They also share in the merits of the prayers and good works of all the members of the Mercedarian Order.

Sacred Heart Sodality (women)

This Sodality, which is a parish-based organization, promotes devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus; promotes the growth of holiness in the daily lives of its members; promotes the spiritual and social well-being of its members; and seeks to contribute to the common good of the parish.
